The market talk and business matching “Agricultural and food products: Trade opportunities between Cambodia and Vietnam”
On the morning of 16th September 2024, the Ministry of Industry, Science, Technology, and Innovation (MISTI), in partnership with the Agency for Enterprise Development (AED), Development Partners and GIZ ASEAN-SME Project, hosted the market talk and business matching “Agricultural and food products: Trade opportunities between Cambodia and Vietnam” on ASEAN Access MATCH.
The event brought together 90 participants, including Mr. Chhea Layhy, Director of SMEs Department, Mr. Nguyen Duc Trung, Deputy Director General Agency for Enterprise Development of Vietnam (AED) Business representative, MSMEs, and industry experts.
The forum aimed to deliver comprehensive technical insights on the trends in export-import products between the two countries, while also providing business owners with opportunities to identify potential partners and expand their networks. Additionally, attendees received valuable information and advice from experts on facilitating trade between the two nations.
Mr. Chhea Layhy emphasized the significance of trade between the two countries, particularly encouraging business owners to leverage the ASEAN Access MATCH online business matchmaking platform. This initiative provides opportunities to connect with potential partners, expand networks, and enter new markets in alignment with the demands of the digital age.
This virtual event is part of the regional-level support by the ASEAN SME II project implemented by GIZ a with funding from the Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ).
