On March 12, 2025, H.E. Hem Vanndy, the Minister of Industry, Science, Technology & Innovation, met with a delegation from CP All Cambodia to discuss ways to support the inclusion of Cambodian-made products in its 7-Eleven stores. The meeting aimed establish collaboration to boost the capacity and quality of local small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) to meet market standards.

CP All Cambodia, which operates 7-Eleven in Cambodia, expressed its commitment to featuring local products, currently offering about 10% Cambodian goods, with plans to increase this share on its store selves.

Minister Vanndy encouraged the company to collaborate with potential SMEs through partners like Khmer Enterprise, by providing training and guidance on best practices in innovation and technology, emphasizing the need for a coordinated effort to meet food production standards.

He asked the company to promote the registration of products with the Institute of Standards of Cambodia (ISC) to ensure food safety and build consumer trust.

The Minister also recommended that the company utilize the Science, Technology and Innovation National Laboratory (STINL) services for food chemical analyses and to partner with the National Institute of Science, Technology and Innovation (NISTI) on research and development, which could enhance local food quality and safety, ultimately paving the way for broader market access.
