Siem Reap, 15th September 2023, the Ministry of Industry, Science, Technology & Innovation (MISTI), United Nations Industrial Development Organization in Cambodia, Young Entrepreneurs Association of Cambodia, Cambodia Women Entrepreneurs Association, EuroCham Cambodia, Impact HUB, SHE Investment and GIZ co-organized the Digital Information seminar “Digital Information, Registration, Productivities and Workforce Upskilling for Shared Prosperity in Cambodia and ASEAN”.
126 participants attended the seminar – those who are MSMEs businesses owners in Siem Reap and nearby provinces, officials from Department of Industry, Science, Technology & Innovation in Siem Reap and nearby, officials from relevant ministries department, development partners and guests.
The seminar aimed to brief about ASEAN Access and KhmerSME, including the benefits and registration processes. The goal to enhance their business capacities and brand visibilities throughout country and region. The seminar also focus on increasing awareness of business registration via digital platform, improving productivities through public-private partnerships for the skill development, promoting vocational education training, and developing flexible apprenticeship pathways to MSMEs through presentation and panel discussion.
The seminar was part of the country-level support by the ASEAN-German cooperation projects “ Strengthening Regional Structures for Small and Medium Enterprise Promotion in ASEAN (ASEAN SME) implemented by GIZ Cambodia.
